Both my parents are devout Catholics and they've raised me to be one as well. Although, for the past couple of years, I've questioned my family's religion continuously as I endured the mores of Catholicism such as First Communion, confessions, etc. While I continue to attend mass every Christmas and Easter with my family, I don't consider myself to be a true Catholic; I'm simply agnostic. Although I don't practice religion at all, religion has definitely affected who I am as a person. The morals that I abide by everyday in my life are based on religion, there are always reports that I read about in the media constantly arguing over religion or trying to figure out a scientific explanation, and the fact that I've been attending a Christian school for 10 years have all affected my personal history.
